英语元话语在学术论文摘要写作中的应用

元话语是一个在学术写作、修辞和篇章结构的研究中十分重要的概念。本研究利用Hyland提出的元话语分类模式,自建两个小型语料库,对比英语为母语的论文作者和英语为非母语的论文作者在摘要写作中元话语的使用情况。结果显示,英语为非本族语的论文作者主要还是在摘要部分以交际元话语对其篇章进行梳理,而对于互动元话语功能的了解不够深入。

Metadiscourse in the Abstracts of Academic Writing

Metadiscourse is a very important term in academic writing,rhetorics and discourse analysis.
