| Abstract: | China has a long history in making technical standards which were richin contents and exerted great impact. The technical .standards, with explictcharacteristics and classification,originated from and developed under China'sunique historical circumstances. Those in agriculture ,handicraft industry, textileand dyeing industry,and traditional Chinese pharmaceutical industry as well asconstruction engineering, etc. reached a very high level and played a significantrole in the development of ancient Chinese civilization. |
