On the Structure and Characteristics of British Patronage System during the Modern Conversion Period

The period from the late Tudor to the early Stuart was the conversion period which was originated from the mid-century of British society with increasingly modern characteristics.During that period,the Royal Government established a modern administrative system,on the other hand,the patronage system evolved from the mid-century was still the potential system,under which a patronage net was knitted from central to local,presenting different forms and characteristics.
