| 摘 要： | 在所有动物中,受到褒贬最多的莫过于蛇。一方面,它象征着正义、诚实、报恩、智慧、生育,是善良的化身;另一方面,它又象征着残暴、狡诈、忘恩、愚昧、死亡,是邪恶的代表。蛇的这一双重特性突出地反映在民风习俗、文学艺术、语言文字和宗教信仰等方面。

| Abstract: | Of all the animals,snake is the one that is evaluated the merists and demerits of the most. Snake symbolizes justice, honesty, wisdom and kindness as well as reproducing new individuals from generation to generation. Simultaneously, it symbolizes cruelty,craftiness,death,ungratefulness and ignorance.The dual personality of the snake reflects in custom,literature,art,language and religious belief as well. |
