| 摘 要： | 大学作为一类组织与其他各类组织在功能和使命上存在着不同，因而具有不同的组织特征。我国大学所处的环境与欧美国家大学所处环境明显不同，与欧美国家大学在组织特征上也存在很大差异。中国大学具有以下四个特征：以使命为导向，以行政权力为尊，大学精神正在衰微，合法性机制占先。

| Abstract: | Because of different tunctions and missions, different from those of other kinds of organizations. Meanwhile, owing to the obvious differences in external circumstances between Chinese universities and their European and American counterparts, the organizational features of Chinese institutions of higher learning are also quite different. This paper exposes the following four features of Chinese colleges and universities through a comparison. Their missions are taken as their goal; only administrative power is respected; their spirit is declining; and legitimate mechanism prevails. |
