Brief discussion on function of the Russian correlatives "что"

In view of the limitation of the definition of the function in the traditional grammar,the paper points out in Russian ＂ что＂ in a kind of compound sentence is different and in doubt clause with pronouns and attributive clause the essential difference of ＂что＂ lies in whether or not the interrogative meaning is retained,and correlative ＂что＂ in these compound sentences not only has link function but also many diffences,that is homonymous phenomenon.The study on the difference will contribute to more detailed knowledge and understanding of their language phenomenon.
