对比较文学跨学科研究的再探讨

比较文学跨学科研究经雷马克为代表的美国学者提出以来,为比较文学引进了新的研究视角,创辟了新的领域和境界,但在很多方面也一直受到学界的争议。首先,跨学科研究使比较文学学科本身形成了无限的扩展性,从而让学科界限变得模糊甚至不再存在;其次,跨学科研究也容易使比较文学研究形成对"文学性"的丢弃,对"可比性"的忽视,使文学文本沦为其他学科的研究资料;最为严重的是,它漠视了比较文学学科所要求的研究对象必须具备跨国界、跨语言、跨文化或跨文明等"跨越性"。

Reflections on Interdisciplinary Studies of Comparative Literature

Since the first time Interdisciplinary Study was put forward by H. Remark, the fatuous A- tnerican scholar of comparative literature, it has been a controversial topic, although it brought in new study perspectives and opened up new reahns. But in many respects it has been subject to academic dis- pute. Firstly, it makes the discipline boundaries indistinct and leads comparative literature into infinite expansion. Secondly, as can be seen from the existing researches in interdisciplinary study, many re- searchers fail to stick to “literariness” or “comparability” , and literary texts degenerated to be research data for other disciplines. Lastly and the most importantly, some so-called “interdisciplinary studies” only care about “crossing disciplines” while ignoring the other “four crosses” emphasized by comparative liter- ature, i.e. crossing national boundaries, crossing languages, crossing cultures or crossing civilizations.
