| Abstract: | The double nature of instrumentalism and humanism education for TEFL at college level is presented.It is stressed that the language teaching process is conductive to the cultivation of humanism,philosophical reasoning,scientific thinking,and the development of constructive personality and aesthetic taste.The discussion is meaningful for finding a principle to guide the profession at present. |
