| Abstract: | The success of Chinese films in the 1920' s and 1930' s is mainly a result of the correct conception of films that met the needs of the social development of the time. Yuan Muzhi is a representative of the people who promoted the growth of the conception. According to Yuan, film should be an integrity of advanced culture, progressive thoughts, art and entertainment. |
