Empirical Research on the Land Finance Problem in Guangdong Province

This paper analyses the institutional change and the government behavior choice which eventually causes the land financial problem,through the scan of gradual institutional change in China.The results of theoretical analysis have been empirically proven by the data of Guangdong province.The results show that it is the comprehensive role of competition among the local governments,financial pressure on the budget,which leads the local government to land finance model.Therefore,the greatest risk of the land finance is to threaten the sustainable development of the urbanization process in China.Suggestions have been made at the end of this paper.
