| Abstract: | The vicissitudes of historical position of Mao Ze-dong Thought has undergone three stages, namely, from being depreciated as "the peasants' ideology" to being established as the guiding ideology; from "not to be mentioned" to "being given wide publicity"; and from the repudiation of "the two principles of rigid adherence to whatever Mao said " to the principle of sticking to and development of Mao's ideology. The two great revolutions led by the CPC are the practical basis for the vicissitudes of the historical position of Mao Ze-dong Thought. |
