| Abstract: | The causes that led to the contradiction between the Youth League of T hree Principles of the People(YLTPP) and the Kuomintang (KMT)are as follows: fi rst, the ambiguity of the definition of the KMT YLTPP relation; second, unclear definition of the nature of YLTPP. The early and middle stage Party-League cont radiction found expression in control and counter control struggle in such aspe cts as personnel arrangements, the stipulation of the age limit of league member s and daily routines. Chiang Kai shek tried hard to reconcile the contradiction . |
