摘    要:英语情感动词的“-ing分词”与-“ed分词”的理解和用法是英语学习中的一个难点,特别是区别使用“exc ited”与“exc iting”之类的分词。当前,国内语法界对这一语言现象缺乏本质性的分类和准确的阐述,要弄清这一问题需从形式和意义两个角度对这一语言现象进行清晰的分类和准确到位的论述。

Abstract:The understanding and mastery of "-ing participle" and "-ed participle" of English feeling verbs is a difficult point in the English study.According to our investigation, many college students have difficulty distinguishing participles such as "excited" and"exciting".We have also discovered that the grammar circle of our country does not have a separate and independent classification and illustration for this language phenomenon,as might have been the cause that the use of such participles has become a difficult point for the English learners. From the angle of grammatical forming as well as meaning, this study has given a clear classification and clarified illustration for the correct use of "-ing participle" and "-ed participle" of English feeling verbs.
Keywords:feeling verbs  features of human or object  human feelings
