A Study on the "-ing Form" and "-ed Form" of English Feeling Verbs

The understanding and mastery of "-ing participle" and "-ed participle" of English feeling verbs is a difficult point in the English study.According to our investigation,many college students have difficulty distinguishing participles such as "excited" and"exciting".We have also discovered that the grammar circle of our country does not have a separate and independent classification and illustration for this language phenomenon,as might have been the cause that the use of such participles has become a difficult point for the English learners.From the angle of grammatical forming as well as meaning,this study has given a clear classification and clarified illustration for the correct use of "-ing participle" and "-ed participle" of English feeling verbs.
