| 摘 要： | 语码转换作为一种跨语言的表达形式,在小说语篇中别具一格地体现其意义与功能。通过考察新加坡小说中汉英语码转换的形式,揭示了语码转换在三个层次的主位结构中的分布特点,即小句(或小句复合体)主位,超级主位和宏观主位、突出了语码转换对构建文学语篇和传递新信息的功能,探讨了选择语码转换的多种动机。

| Abstract: | Code-switching with its special way of juxtaposing more than one language in an utterance can realize various meanings and functions. Based on the framework of thematic system of systemic-functional linguistics, Chinese-English code-switching in Singaporean novel Working Girls is analyzed to explore its constructive functions in thematic structures at three levels and the information conveyance of the literary text. The motivations behind Chinese-English code-switching are explored and the characteristics of unmarked use of code-switching in Singapore and the particular style of literary creation are displayed. |
