人的需要是无限性和有限性的辩证统一

需要有无限性，同时也具有有限性。在量的方面二者的辩证统一是需要的重要规律。无限性的依据是人的社会性、发展性；有限性的依据是人的现实性、物质性。需要和欲望有不同的规律。需要是客观的，欲望是心理现象，有更大的无限性，容易背离人的实际需要。只有理解物质需要的有限性才能克服贪欲，才能与人分享，这是个人幸福和社会和谐的依据。

Human Needs:a Dialectical Unity of Infinity and Finity

Need is a matter of both finity and infinity, and the quantative dialectical unity of these two features is an important law about needs. Infinity is based on human characteristics of being social and under development, while finity is based on practicality and materialness of humans. Needs and desires follow laws of their own. Needs are objectively in exist- ence,while desires are psychological phenomena, with more infinity, and deviates more easily from the real needs of hu- mans. Therefore, to understand correctly the finity of material needs may help us curb greed and share with others, which is the ground for individual well-being and social harmony.
