| Abstract: | By making an inquiry into the different types of fictive use of kinship terms and the different scopes of their being used,this paper makes a comparative study on the unbalanced fictive use of kinship terms in Northeastern dialect and Shanghai dialect,with an attempt to explore the social,cultural,and psychological factors behind this language phenomenon. |
