“佛主出世”说辨析

“出世”可以做不同的读解。当其意为不关心或远离世俗生活之时，谓之“佛主出世”是不符合佛教学说思想之实际的；当其意为超越世俗生活观念及追求之时，“佛主出世”则反映了佛教“出世间”的核心观点主张，突出了佛教修行乃了明心性、超越表象以证入至真之境的思想宗旨。

An Analysis on Chu-Shi,a Common View of Buddhism

A common but disputed view of regarding Buddhism as a doctrine of the so-called Chu-Shi (出世) can be understood in different ways due to the multiple meanings Chu-Shi shares. It will be reasonable and can meet Buddhism' s substance of self-cultivation via moral sense and human nature in order to surmount obstacles of worldly affairs and achieve the ideal of the universal true thusness if Chi-Shi refers to a-loka. Otherwise, if it refers to monachism or eschewal attitude of real life, it will be prejudicial, in terms of viewing Buddhism in principle or as a whole.
