宋词与文学传统

对宋词来说,文学传统有两个方面:一是唐五代词的传统,一是宋以前中国文学的传统。就前者而言,男女情爱的内容、香艳柔婉的风格,都被宋代词人所继承;就后者而言,中国文学的诸多传统,都在宋词中得到了充分的继承与延续。宋词继承了文学传统,也丰富、补充、发展了文学传统,从而成为中国文学传统之链中不可或缺的一个环节。

Song Ci and Literary Traditions

For Song Ci,literary tradition has two aspects. One is the Ci tradition of Poetry of Tang Dynasty and Five Dynasties, and the other is the Chinese literary traditions before Song Dynasty. For the former, the writers of Song Ci inherited its content of romantic passions and its style of being flowery and gentle. For the latter, various kinds of the Chinese literary traditions are all inherited and continued fully in Song Ci. Song Ci not only inherited but also enrich literary traditions. It became a necessary link of the Chinese literary traditional chain.
