Summary of Research on Land-privatization System in Warring States Period

Land system is an important but difficult point in studying the history of Warring States. Among the senior scholars' works on the land system in the Warring States, the major view is that the public ownership collapsed and the private ownership was established at that time. According to the literature and unearthed cultural relics, Mr. Liu Zehua initiated the theory of Land-privatization system in Warring States Period in late 1970s, and was supported and developed by many scholars.
