| 摘 要： | 弗·司各特·菲茨杰拉德（１８９６－１９４０）是２０世纪美国最重要的小说家之一。本文通过分析“爵士乐时代”的代表人物盖茨比与富兰克林精神的密切关系，论证了盖茨比人物形象与美国历史传统有千丝万缕的联系，具有更广泛的代表性，更具典型的意义。

| Abstract: | F. Scott Fitzgerald is one of the most important American writers in the 20th century. In this paper, It' s analysed that Catsby, the typical hem of the Jazz Age, is connected closely with the Franklin's spirit. This kind of close connection shows the origin of Gatsby, the hem in the fitzgerald's finest novel--The Great Gatsby--and makes Gatsby a more typical hero not only in the Jazz Age but also beyond the jazz Age. |
