中国共产党第十六次全国代表大会是一次团结的大会、胜利的大会、奋进的大会、继往开来的大会，是我们党历史上具有伟大、深远意义的一次大会。十六大报告主题鲜明、内涵丰富、思想深刻、论述精辟，体现了解放思想和实事求是的统一，理论创新和实践创新的统一，总结过去和规划未来的统一，立足国情和面向世界的统一，是一篇逻辑严密、结构严谨的马克思主义纲领性文献。十六大报告提出了一系列新思想、新观点，作者撷取其中观点进行阐述，认为必须全面理解、深刻把握、始终坚持这些观点。

Important Meeting, Grand Theory, Program for Action

The author believes that the sixteenth congress of Chinese Communist Party is a meeting with significant and far-reaching meanings. The report to the congress has distinctive theme, rich connotation, deep thought and brilliant exposition, representing the unity of mind emancipation and seeking truth from facts, the unity of theoretical creation and practical creation, the unity of summarizing past and planning future and the unity of basing ourselves on the reality of our county and facing to the world. The report is a programmatic Marxist document with strict logic and well-knit structure. It has put forwards a series of new thoughts and new views. This paper takes nine points in the report for discussion and believes these points must be comprehensively understood, deeply grasped and always adhered to.
