The Importance of Being Practical and Experienced for the Educators Who Serve in the Department of Special Education

The purpose of this article is to elaborate the importance of being practical and experienced for the educators who serve in the department of special education. To be practical and experienced, the educators should possess continuing practical experiences, abilities to demonstrate teaching on the students with special needs, and should be able to give directions in actual teaching situations. The author emphasi- zes that a good teacher must be a good mentor; the notion is especially important for the educators who are responsible for teacher education. The author also suggests several ways to make the educators practical and experienced.
