汉英双语者二语语句理解过程中母语启动效应的ERP研究

句子理解作为第二语言学习的重要组成部分,一直都是语言学家跨语言研究的焦点,了解二语学习者的语句理解过程具有很强的现实意义.本研究采用ERP技术,对汉英双语者在执行二语语义判断任务时进行适当的母语启动,检验母语语义启动在二语语句理解过程中是否存在积极作用及其发挥作用的规律性.实验结果表明,对于汉英双语者来说,汉语语义启动对英语语句理解有显著作用,在准确率及反应时方面都有明显体现,且不同启动情况下的加工脑机制又明显不同,不启动的情况出现更为明显的激活.该研究结果支持以往词汇层面研究的部分结论,同时也指出了不同语系启动情况下句子层面带来的不同启动效应.

ERP Research on the Mother Language Priming Effects during the Second Language Sentence Comprehension by Chinese-English Bilinguals

As an important component for second language learning,sentence comprehension has always been taken as the research focus in the field of cross-language study.By providing some Chinese primes during the process of English sentence comprehension and applying ERP technique,the present study is to investigate how word meaning primes of Chinese facilitate the understanding of English sentences for Chinese-English bilinguals.The result indicated that,for Chinese-English bilinguals,it would take much longer response time and have much lower response accuracy under unprimed conditions.The analysis of ERP data showed that primed and unprimed conditions were quite different in neuro processing,and the amplitudes were captured to be larger for unprimed conditions than for the rest three primed conditions.This was mostly on the side of previous researches on the lexicon level,while at the same time presenting some unique results from the perspective of sentence level.
