英语学习焦虑与自我水平评估及实际水平的相关研究

摘    要:在山西农业大学以英语作为外语的环境下,在学生没有考试压力的前提下,采用一个由“背景问卷”、经过改编的“外语课堂学习焦虑”、“外语阅读焦虑”和“外语写作焦虑”组成的调查问卷,一套最新的全国四级统一考试题来实证性地探索英语焦虑和英语自我水平评估以及实际成绩之间的关系。根据学生的自我水平评估对不同水平学生的平均焦虑值以及平均成绩进行比较分析,得出焦虑与自我水平评估以及实际水平皆呈负相关,自我水平评估与实际水平呈正相关。

Abstract:This paper uses a questionnaire,which comprised a "background questionnaire",the adapted Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale,the Foreign Language Writing Anxiety Test and the Foreign Language Reading Anxiety Scale and a latest CET Band-4 exam paper,to examine empirically the correlations between English learning anxiety,self-perceived proficiency and actual proficiency under a relax situation in Shanxi Agricultural University.By comparing and analyzing the mean anxiety and mean grade of different self-perceived students,we find that English anxiety is negatively correlated with both self-perceived proficiency and actual proficiency and self-perceived proficiency is positively correlated with actual proficiency.
