大学生英语课堂沉默成因分析

摘    要:大学英语课堂沉默一直是高校英语教师面临的棘手问题,也是亟待解决的教学问题。怎样才能解决大学生的英语课堂沉默问题?首先要找出沉默成因,这样才能"对症下药"。通过研究,本文得出了面子意识、师生关系影响、焦虑影响、消极的自我概念和语言能力所限等是大学英语课堂沉默的成因。

Abstract:Silence in college English classroom has been a thorny issue faced by college English teachers,and it is a teaching problem urgent to be solved.How to solve the problem of silence in college English classroom? First the factors of silence must be found,in order to " suit the remedy to the case".Through the research,this paper gets the result that face consciousness,the influence of teacher-student relationship,anxiety,negative self-concept and language competence limitation the likes are the factors of silence in college English classroom.
