非英语专业学生学习英语动机探析

摘    要:学习动机是制约学生外语学习成绩的主要变量之一,长期以来受到外语学习者和教学者的广泛关注。文章通过对非英语专业学生学习英语动机的调查与研究,分析了各种不同的学习动机,并结合最新理论,对我国大学英语教学如何激发学生学习英语的动机提出了若干建议。

Abstract:Motivation is one of the most important variables affecting the students' performance of English, which is widely concerned by foreign language learners and teachers for a long time. Through the investigation of the English-learning motivations of the non-English majors, the author tries to understand and analyze the various learning motivations. In line with some related latest theories, some suggestions are put forward about how to arouse students' motivations to study English for the college English teaching in our country.
