日本犯罪被害人保护法制度及其对我们的启示

The system of protecting the victims has been greatly concerned in Japan . Since 2000 a series of statutes on the prevention of crimes and the protection of the victims have been stipulated and revised. The birth of the two laws for the safeguard of criminal victims made Japan the leading states in the world. The two laws lighten the criminal victims mental and psychic burdens and increase various measures to give relief to victims rights making the victim protection system have such characters as independence, efficiency, systematism and the balance protection of the victims and the accused. All these provide us the experience to set up our legal system to protect the victim.
