| Abstract: | By means of an analysis on Guangdong's historical goal of being the first province to achieve modernization, and its consequent cultural needs, Guangdong's economic power for cultural development, industrial power and resources, and ideologies, the author of the present paper discusses the special necessities and feasibilities to build Guangdong into a culturally powerful province. The paper also offers some suggestions for the strategic position and scientific planning in building a cultural power. |
