On the Relationship Between the Three Political Reforms in the Late Qing Dynasty

The three political reforms in the Late Qing Dynasty,namely,Yang Wu Movement,the Constitutional Reform and Modernization of 1898 and Late Qing Reform,were closely related with each other and should not be understood in isolation since they chronologically developed into and generated from one another. A clear view of their relationship may be obtained from the angles of the cause and background, initiation and leadership,form and content,consequences and influence,concrete characteristics and their respective positions in the progress of modern history of China.
