| 摘 要： | 早期自由主义者对市民社会理想的不懈追求为现代意义上的市民社会理论的产生奠定了思想及理论基础。其突出的贡献在于开创了两种典型的市民社会理论传统，即查尔斯·泰勒所谓的L流思想与M流思想，对后来的市民社会理论发展及其制度实践都产生了深远的影响。研究早期自由主义者对市民社会的追寻，可以为我们更好地理解现代市民社会的发展提供本源意义的启示。

| Abstract: | The liberalists at an early stage made a sustained effort to be in pursuit of civic social ideals which laid ideological and theoretical foundation for the emerging of civic social theory. Their prominent contribution lies in initiating two typical traditional theories of civic society, i.e. the so-called Charles Tailor＇ s ＂L＂ school of thought and ＂M＂ school of thought, which exerted a profound influence on the theoretical development of civic society and the practising of its system. A study of the liberalists＇ pursuit of civic society at that stage is a great inspiration to us in that it helps us understand better the basic significance of developing modern civic society. |
