中国近代意义的妇女解放运动 ,始于戊戌变法时期 ,辛亥革命时期形成高潮。这一时期 ,资产阶级革命先驱批判妇女问题上的封建专制思想 ,倡导妇女解放的新观念 ,提倡并兴办女学 ,组织女子军参军参战 ,进而以政党和妇女社团为依托 ,谋求妇女参政 ,把妇女解放运动与社会革命紧密地结合在一起 ,使近代中国妇女解放运动进入了一个新的发展时期
