试论翻译中译文对原文文体的适应

文体学是现代语言学中的一门年轻学科 ,它的研究成果是翻译理论中的一个重要组成部分。一篇译文的质量如何 ,很大程度上取决于译文对原文文体的适应。因此 ,在翻译过程中必须透彻理解原文的文体特点 ,并运用已掌握的翻译技能处理原文 ,使译文尽可能地适应原文的文体 ,再现原文的自身风格。本文试从文体的两大分类———口语体和书面体出发逐一阐述在翻译时各种不同类型文体的译文如何适应原文的需要 ,同时兼顾读者身上的某些条件要求。只有这样 ,我们才能保证翻译作品的质量 ,努力提高翻译水平

On the Adaptation of a Translated Text to the Style of Original in Translation

Stylistics is a new branch of modern linguistics and its study is a very important part in the theory of translation. To a large extent, the quality of a translated text depends on whether the style of the translation adapts to that of the original. Therefore, in translation we should understand the stylistic characteristics of the original thoroughly and take pains to make the translation more possibly adaptable to the style of the original and carry a style of its own. This article attempts to illustrate, from the point of view of the classifications of style-the oral and the spoken, how the translation adapts to the original in different types of styles, and at the same time meets certain requirements of the reader. Only in this way can we ensure the quality of the translation and improve translation skills.
