Modernizing Traits of Legal System Reform in the Late Qing Dynasty

The legal system reform in the late Qing Dynasty played an important role in the history of legal system of China in the 20th century.It has also displayed some traits of modernzation;initially establishing the legal idea of the modernization of "political reform for being a powerful state"and "understanding law for ruling a state",setting up the basic principles of establishing consitution,convening parliament and promoting democracy and building a country with rules of law,starting the judicial system and law operating procedure.The achievement of the legal system reform in the late Qing Dynasty influenced upon the whole of the 20th century.
