莎士比亚的<麦克白>与中国传统戏曲<伐子都>,在表现麦克白和公孙子都犯下罪恶后的恐惧、痛苦的心理与心灵所受的折磨上,同样运用了幻觉、鬼魂超自然因素或反常现象等情节,推动主人公激烈的内心冲突.但在艺术手段上却分别用了西方和东方戏剧文化在舞台上展现.异曲同工地塑造了麦克白和公孙子都的人物形象和他们犯罪后的白昼梦魇,给当今社会的人们以警戒抵御外在的诱惑,克服内在的欲念,心安理得地享受人生.

Different Approaches, Equally Satisfactory Results--Different Artistic Manifestation of Illusion and Ghosts in Mecbeth and Fa Tzu-du

In both Shakespeare's Mecbeth and Chinese traditional drama Fa Tzu-du,supernatural and abnormal phenomenon such as illusion and ghosts were used to describe the dread and psychological sufferings of the two protagonists after their committing of the crimes, while these two approaches were manifested differently on the stage according to the western darama and the oriental drama. These two dramas are just like different tunes rendered with equal skill-they are different in approach but equally satisfactory in result. The charaterization of Mecbeth and Gong-sun Tzu-du and their nightmare after committing of the crimes warned people to resist the outer temptation and to control the evil inner desire and to lead a peaceful life.
