Abstract: | Buprenorphine prescriptions that were dispensed — the medication given to patients — increased 9.1% from 2017 to 2018, a study published last month has found. Nurse practitioners (NPs) and physician assistants (PAs) accounted for most of the increase, especially in rural counties. |
