摩咥里制吒及其《四百赞》

本文对印度佛教文学史上非常重要的佛赞作者摩咥里制吒及其作品《四百赞》进行了初步研究，参照相关的梵文残卷和藏文译本，将《四百赞》首次翻译为汉文，并辅以简单的译注，力图为进一步研究这一重要的佛教赞颂文学作品提供一个可靠的汉译本。

Matrceta and His Praise of the Praiseworthy

This article begins with a preliminary study of the Praise of the Praiseworthy by Matrceta, whose significant body of Buddhastotras makes him an outstanding poet of this genre in Indian Buddhist literature. It is the first time in China for this author to use various Sanskrit fragments and the Tibetan version for reference to translate the Praise of the Praiseworthy into Chinese. The brief commentary is intended to make this translation a basis for further studies of Buddhastotra.
