新时期汉语语境中的英语缩略词语论略

20世纪80年代以来,汉语语境下的英语借词在形式和使用上均出现了一些值得注意的新现象,特别是缩略词的涌现,引起了广大人民群众和语言学工作者的注意.汉语语境中的英语字母缩略词具有相当强的构词能力,但它在给我们带来快捷简便高效的同时,也渐渐出现了缩略不规范、缩略形式多样、普通读者看不懂等问题.因此,对这些缩略词、字母词必须予以规范：1.缩略规范;2.语境规范;3.使用规范;4.读音规范;5.重视规范.＂拿来＂之后,取其精华,弃其糟粕,洋为中用,这才是科学的态度.

Since 1980's,borrowed English words in Chinese context have exhibited some noticeable phenomena both in form and in usage.The emergence of abbreviations in great numbers especially attracts the attention of the broad masses of people as well as linguistic workers.English abbreviations in Chinese context have a considerable word-building power.Nevertheless,with their speed,simplicity and efficience,there gradually appears irregularity in abbreviations,many forms of which ordinary readers can hardly understand.Hence the following aspects of standardization should be achieved in advance: 1.abbreviation standardization;2.context standardization;3.usage standardization;4.pronunciation standardization and 5.the importance attached to the standardization.The proper scientific attitude towards the borrowings is taking the essence,discarding the dross and adapting them for Chinese use.
