| 摘 要： | 由于任何两种不同民族都有文化重叠之处,加之人类理性思维的共性,往往导致喻体与喻义在英汉文化中有完全一致的时候。而又因各民族都有其文化个性,喻体和喻义在这两种文化中就会出现完全不一致的现象,本文试图通过实例,对比分析动物喻体、喻义在英汉两种文化中的异同。

| Abstract: | On account of Generality of human rational thinking, as well as cultural overlaps of any two different nations, the similarity of vehicle and its figurative sense in both English and Chinese appears. Cultural individuality of each nation, on the other hand, results in the difference of vehicle and its figurative sense in the two languages. The present paper attempts to, through examples, make a comparative study of similarity and difference of animal vehicle and its figurative sense in both cultures. |
