The Exploration of the Primitive Agriculture in Hainan Province

This article separates the development of primitive agriculture in Hainan province into three periods,they are slash-and-burn farming,hoe farming and plough farming.It aims at exploring why the ancient groups chose this kind of produce style and the development of tropical island's primitive agriculture.The author also gives some opinions about the distribution of Hainan province's historical population in the process of the migration.
