摘    要:五四时期的作家,由于面对酷烈的社会现实,大多选择以倾诉作为短篇小说最基本的表达方式。从讲述变成倾诉,短篇小说侵入了诗的范围,这是五四短篇小说的一大创举。不过,因作家个人体验及抒情的心理动因各有差异,这些小说在表现方式上千姿百态、个性斐然。最能体现出五四时代特征的抒情短篇小说形式,当属以郁达夫为代表的主观宣泄式、庐隐为代表的日记书信式、鲁迅的手记式、废名的田园写意式等。抒情的介入,使传统短篇小说的叙事重心发生了彻底的颠覆。
