巴沙尔政府执政以来的叙美关系探析

巴沙尔政府执政以来，叙美关系发生重大改变，首先巴沙尔政府以“支恐”而与美关系出现倒退，两国关系在伊拉克战争以及在黎巴嫩问题上进一步激化。但叙利亚在中东战略部署中具有不可替代的作用，因此，两国都力求改善两国关系。但叙以和谈进程、叙伊“准同盟”关系及恐怖主义问题等因素导致两国关系一度陷入僵局。总之，叙美关系不会在短时期内迅速升温，叙利亚反美的长期基调也不会出现明显改变的迹象。

An Analysis of Syria-USA Relations since Bashar al-Assad came to Power

Since Bashar al-Assad came to power, the Syria-USA relations have changed greatly. The Bashar government fell back in its relations with USA for its ＂terrorist support＂, and the relations became acute in issues of Iraq War and Lebanon. However, Syria is irreplaceable in Middle East strategic position. The two countries seek to improve their relations, but the peace talks between Syria and Israel, ＂pseudo-alliance＂ relation between Syria and Iran, and terrorism issue once set the alleviated relations of the two countries in deadlock. In a word the relations cannot be warmed up in a short time and the anti-USA long-term keynote will not indicate evident changes either.
