The Relationship Between the Central Government and Hebei in the Sui Dynasty

The article focus on the issue how was Hebei under the central government in the Sui Dynasty. Before the Sui Dynasty, the City of Ye of Hebei was a capital of a regional kingdom, however, Hebei became one part of a unified empire since 581 AD. It was very important to the Sui Dynasty. The empire defended themseleve in north Hebei, it controled these areas by administration and had good relations with those old and great families.
