《海经》、《荒经》东方奇形怪状之人考辨

《山海经》的《海经》、《荒经》所记载的东方奇形怪状之人可分为四类:一类是身体上部器官发育过度,生有长臂。第二类是身体下部器官存在缺陷,有的胸部洞贯,有的两腿交叉在一起。第三类是皮肤黑色。第四类是巨人和矮人并存。这些奇形怪状的东方之人,承载着先民一系列生命理念,主要包括物莫能两大、天人相感、异类同根三种理念。东方奇形怪状之人的生成,与太阳升起于东方这种自然现象密切相关,是先民类比联想的产物。
