| Abstract: | Robert Hooke,one of the most prolific and creative scientists of all times, made foundmental contributions to physics, astronomy, chemisty, geology, biology and meteorology. Hooke had described correctly some of the principles of orbital motion that led Newton to the discovery of Kepler's area law, and to a deeper understanding of orbital dynamics.His MICROGRAPHLA was the most important book that he produced. |
