| 摘 要： | 施坚雅将中国城市史研究置于广阔的区域空间中，使西方对中国城市史的研究进入了一个崭新的阶段；他所提出的理论以及研究的角度和方法，对于克服西方学界中国史研究中的“西方中心主义”倾向，确立一种新的历史研究模式来阐述中国传统社会的结构及变迁，具有重要的意义．

| Abstract: | This article holds that G. Skinner placed the research on the history of Chinas city into a vas background and made it enter a band-new phase. His theory and the way he did the researeh are of great significance for they have overcome the western scholars'tendency of " western-centehsm" in the study of the Chinese history and established a new mode of historical researeh to expound China's theditional structure and transihon society. |
