A Historical Review of Studies of Lu Xun since the New Period

Works by Lu Xun are profound and multiple,modern and unprecedented,providing infinite space for future interpretation of "contemporariness" .The outstanding research results in the New Period are all based on the culture in "contemporary" society and the "modernity" of literature as the basis of their value orientation and inside motivation. In this way,such concepts and key words as "people" ,"human nature" ,"anti - feudal ideological revolution" ,"historical ' intermediate' ,"life philosophy" ,"transforming national character" and "cultural night - watcher" became the central topics of research.In fact,his works have become the ideological source of Chinese literature and the critical force of the reality.
