美国外交关系档案揭秘:1937年秋冬的“泛南京大屠杀”

1937年12月14日,美国驻德大使陶德在给总统罗斯福的密电中披露,日本驻德大使东乡茂德承认,日军在攻占南京之前就已杀死了50万中国平民。1938年1月25日,美国国务院接到驻上海总领事高斯就日军暴行的专题报告。这一报告与"广田电报"中记录的英国记者田伯烈关于日军屠杀30万平民的报道的内容完全吻合。美国外交关系档案中记录的来自加害方和第三方的消息相互印证了同一事实:1937年11月至1938年1月,日军在以占领南京为目标的侵略行动中曾经大肆屠杀中国平民和俘虏。若将第三方档案与其他证据(电报、日记、书)连贯起来就能明晰地看到,日军从侵略中国开始就伴随着一系列的屠杀、奸淫、抢劫等残暴的反人类罪行。不仅"南京大屠杀"真实可信,而且在南京沦陷之前、之后,以及在南京周边地区,日军曾施以大量屠杀中国平民的暴行。也就是说,1937年秋冬,不但存在"南京大屠杀",而且还发生更令人震惊的"泛南京大屠杀"。档案及相关记录揭示并证明,日本的侵略野心和军国主义教育就意味着与犯罪相伴,也注定了日本军人成为罪恶的战争与屠杀机器的必然。"南京大屠杀"并非孤立事件,它既不是日军犯罪的开始,也不是其暴行的结束。

A declassified confidential telegram to the President Roosevelt by William Edward Dodd,American Ambassador to Germany,revealed the terrible fact that 500,000 Chinese people were killed just before occupied of Nanjing by Japanese army in December 1937.The paper analyzed the telegram and the other one from Shanghai by Consul Gauss to the State Department of USA that reporting the brutalities of Japanese in the Yangtze River delta during the same period.It was found of the research that the Japanese Ambassador to Germany who told the secret figure is none other than one of 14 Class A War Criminals,Shigenori Togo,of Japan and concluded by ascertaining that there had occurred "Pan-Nanjing Massacre" besides existed "Nanjing Massacre" in the deep Autumn and Winter of 1937.
