On Non-governmental Regular University's Approach to Strengthening the Key Competitiveness in Facing the Market:A Case Study of Yellow River College of Science & Technology

The key competitiveness of non-governmental institutions of higher learning is the ability based on its own resources and ability to attain sustainable competitive advantages that decides the future and fate of non-governmental institutions of higher learning. To strengthen the key competitiveness, non-governmental institutions of higher learning must embark on the road of de- velopment with disparity, implement the strategy of developing specialty brands, seek for the new developmental space that meets the needs of the market, occupy the favorable positions for market competition, and take a royal road of sustainable development. Specifically, we can start from the five approaches of selecting and training fine presidents, strengthening the idea of running school with specialty, cultivating hi-quality teachers, forming a good internal management and operation mechanism and trying to find the optimum talent-training mode so as to strengthen the key competitiveness of non-governmental institutions of higher learning.
