| Abstract: | In this paper Fang-god temples in Xinjiang is analyzed and discussed according to the records of Xinjiang local history of the end of the Qing dynasty. It is concluded that the Fang - god is originally a soldier who was sent to garrison the frontiers and died a heroic death in a fight against Hoja rebellion to safeguard the unity of the motherland. |
