唐代中原与西域的文化交流频繁,西域的很多商队、僧人、使者等来到中原,其中有些人在长安开设酒肆,酒肆中有许多歌舞侍酒的城外女子为中原文化注入了一股新鲜的空气。胡姬酒肆从一个侧面反映了西域文化与中原文化之间的交流。
